Description – Calbee Harvest Snaps Original Salted Baked Pea Crisps 120g

Calbee Harvest Snaps Original Salted Baked Pea Crisps 120g are baked vegetable-based snack crisps made primarily from green peas, designed to deliver a light, crunchy texture with a simple salted flavour profile. Unlike traditional fried chips, these crisps are baked, resulting in a less greasy, more airy snack experience that still provides satisfying crunch and savoury taste.

The core ingredient, green peas, is processed and baked into crisp formations that expand and develop a light, crunchy structure. This gives the product a unique texture that sits between a crisp and a baked snack, offering a distinct alternative to standard potato-based chips. The pea base also contributes a subtle natural sweetness beneath the savoury seasoning, enhancing overall flavour complexity.

The original salted flavour is intentionally simple, focusing on enhancing the natural taste of the baked peas rather than masking it with heavy seasoning. The light salt coating provides balance and ensures the snack remains savoury and satisfying without becoming overly strong or artificial in taste.

The texture is one of the defining features of this product. Each crisp delivers a light, airy crunch that feels less dense than traditional chips. This makes them easier to eat in larger quantities without feeling overly heavy or greasy, appealing to consumers who prefer lighter snack options.

The 120g pack size provides a generous serving suitable for sharing or multiple snack occasions. It is ideal for household pantry use, office sharing, or keeping on hand for casual snacking across several days. The resealable or durable packaging helps maintain freshness and crunch after opening.

From a nutritional perspective, baked pea crisps are often positioned as a more balanced alternative to fried potato chips. While still a savoury snack, they typically contain plant-based ingredients and offer a different macro profile compared to traditional fried crisps. This makes them appealing to consumers seeking more mindful snack choices without giving up crunch and flavour.

They are highly versatile in usage. They can be enjoyed directly from the pack, served alongside sandwiches, used as a lunchbox snack, or shared during casual gatherings. Their lighter texture also makes them suitable for pairing with dips or spreads without becoming too heavy.

The product fits within the modern “better-for-you” snack category, where consumers look for alternatives to deep-fried snacks that still deliver taste satisfaction. The baked format aligns with this demand by offering crunch and flavour with a lighter overall eating experience.

Overall, Calbee Harvest Snaps Original Salted Baked Pea Crisps 120g provide a simple, crunchy, and savoury snack option that balances enjoyment with a more mindful approach to everyday snacking.
