Description – Pams Shoe String Fries 1kg

Pams Shoe String Fries 1kg are made primarily from high-quality potatoes, carefully cut into thin, uniform strips and snap frozen to preserve freshness, texture, and natural flavour. The product contains 95% potatoes, ensuring a strong natural base and authentic potato taste, supported by a light coating of canola oil for crisping during cooking.

The fries are designed for convenience and performance. The shoe string cut increases surface area, which allows for faster cooking and a crispier final texture compared to thicker-cut fries. This makes them suitable for oven baking, deep frying, or air frying depending on household preference and equipment.

A small amount of mineral salt (450) is included to support texture stability and consistency, while dextrose is used in minimal quantity to assist with browning during cooking, helping the fries achieve a golden appearance. The formulation is intentionally simple, focusing on delivering a clean potato-forward taste without heavy seasoning, allowing users to customise flavour with salt, herbs, sauces, or spices.

Once cooked, these fries deliver a light, crispy exterior with a soft, fluffy interior. Their thin structure makes them especially popular for those who prefer crunchier fries rather than dense or chunky alternatives. They are also ideal for sharing plates, fast food-style meals at home, or as a side dish that cooks quickly without requiring long oven times.

Because they are snap frozen, the fries retain their natural potato structure and moisture balance until cooked, ensuring consistent results every time. This makes them a dependable freezer staple for households that value both convenience and quality.
