Description – Scalli's Seasoning Rosemary & Olive - 500ml

Scalli's Seasoning Rosemary & Olive - 500ml is a versatile seasoning blend crafted to deliver a balanced combination of aromatic rosemary and savoury olive-inspired flavour. It is designed to enhance a wide range of dishes by adding herbal depth, subtle richness, and a well-rounded savoury profile that complements both meats and vegetables.

The base of the seasoning includes salt, spices, and maize flour, which provide structure and help distribute flavour evenly across food surfaces. Rosemary contributes a distinctive aromatic herb note that pairs especially well with roasted meats, potatoes, and Mediterranean-style dishes. Olive essence adds a smooth, savoury richness that enhances overall flavour complexity.

Garlic and sugar are included to balance the seasoning profile, adding mild sweetness and depth, while MSG (E621) enhances umami intensity, helping to bring out the natural flavours of food. The result is a seasoning blend that is bold, savoury, and well-rounded without overpowering the base ingredients of the dish.

The inclusion of wheat-based components helps support texture and adherence when used as a dry rub or seasoning coating. Olive oil flavouring further enhances the richness, giving dishes a slightly smooth, savoury finish when cooked.

This seasoning is highly versatile and can be used in multiple cooking applications. It works well as a dry sprinkle on meats before grilling or roasting, allowing the herbs and spices to form a flavourful crust during cooking. It can also be used in marinades, where it blends with oil or liquid bases to infuse deeper flavour into proteins and vegetables.

The 500ml bottle provides a generous quantity suitable for frequent cooking, making it ideal for households that regularly prepare seasoned meals. The packaging ensures easy dispensing, allowing users to control the amount used depending on the intensity of flavour desired.

From a culinary standpoint, rosemary is widely recognised for its strong aromatic profile, especially in roasted dishes, while olive-inspired seasoning adds a Mediterranean character that pairs well with a wide range of global cuisines. Together, they create a balanced seasoning blend suitable for both traditional and modern cooking styles.

The seasoning is particularly effective in roasting applications, where heat helps release aromatic oils and deepen flavour infusion. It also works well on grilled meats, baked vegetables, and even as a flavour enhancer in soups and stews.
