Description – Wilcox Vivaldi Potatoes 1.5kg

Wilcox Vivaldi Potatoes 1.5kg are premium New Zealand-grown potatoes known for their distinctive creamy texture, smooth golden skin, and naturally buttery flavour. The Vivaldi variety is often described as a “lighter” potato due to its naturally lower starch content and balanced carbohydrate profile compared to traditional roasting varieties.

These potatoes are carefully selected for size and quality consistency, ensuring even cooking across all uses. The thin skin is edible and becomes tender when cooked, reducing the need for peeling and helping retain natural nutrients.

Ingredients: Potatoes

Vivaldi potatoes are classified as a versatile all-rounder with a waxy-creamy texture. When boiled, they hold their shape well while remaining soft and smooth. When roasted, they develop a light golden exterior with a creamy centre. Their texture makes them especially suitable for salads, warm potato dishes, and lighter meal preparations.

The natural flavour is mild and slightly sweet, which allows them to pair well with herbs, olive oil, butter, and a wide range of seasonings. They absorb flavour well without becoming overly heavy, making them ideal for balanced cooking styles.

Wilcox ensures consistent grading and freshness, providing reliable potatoes that perform well in both home kitchens and professional cooking environments. The 1.5kg pack size is suitable for small to medium households, offering freshness and convenience for weekly use.

Vivaldi potatoes are also a source of complex carbohydrates and provide steady energy while remaining naturally low in fat and sodium, making them suitable for balanced dietary needs.
