Known primarily for his colossal biomorphic metal sculptures and more recently for his neon, cosmic paintings, Aaron Curry's work features a unique synthesis of the modernist canon and contemporary cultural touchstones. Influenced by artists such as Pablo Picasso, Alexander Calder, Kurt Schwitters, Francis Picabia and Basil Wolverton, Curry creates an explosive mashup of color, texture and scale.
